Canadian barista champion Ben Put becomes the brand ambassador for Mahlkönig

The multiple barista champion Ben Put from Canada is looking back on 16 years of experience within the international coffee industry. Under the Monogram Coffee brand, he and his two partners run a roast house and two coffee shops in Calgary, Alberta. Ben dedicates his time to quality management as well as to the intensive trainings of his baristas. Extensive scientific coffee analysis as well as intuition and experience are his most important tools to guarantee for a consistently high quality, thus for a perfect taste experience for the guests.
Regarding the grinding, Ben Put trusts on Mahlkönig only – may it have been the cups he served as he succeeded in numerous national and international barista competitions or the cups being served at the roast house and at the shops of Monogram Coffee. Now in 2019, the Canadian collaborates closely with the German brand. Ben Put will accompany Mahlkönig’s product management, join the innovation team and get engaged at the grinder development. His experiences and analytical skills will have a sustainable impact on the concepts and designs of new innovative grinding solutions.
Furthermore, Ben Put will accompany Mahlkönig at international coffee industry events as for example at the HOST in Milan. Just recently the new brand ambassador has showcased the E65S during the Specialty Coffee Expo in Boston, where the next generation espresso grinder got launched on the US market.
