Grind-by-Sync Technology explained by Dale Harris

Grind-by-Sync Technology Explained by Dale Harris

At this year’s World of Coffee, Dale Harris presented Mahlkönig’s groundbreaking Grind-by-Sync technology live and shared his firsthand experience working with the system.

In our latest video, Dale explains how the E80W Grind-by-Sync and E65W Grind-by-Sync grinder communicate directly with the espresso machine to automatically adjust grind size in real time.

By continuously synchronizing grinder and espresso machine, the system helps baristas save time, reduce workload, and lower operational costs — all while maximizing coffee quality and ensuring every drink tastes exactly as intended.

Grind-by-Sync can be used either as a stand-alone grinder solution or integrated with a Sync System compatible espresso machine or device via WiFi or cable-based connection.

What impressed Dale most was not only the operational efficiency and reduced waste, but the remarkable consistency in the cup: flavors remain balanced, precise, and true to the coffee’s intended profile — shot after shot.

Watch the video below and get Dale Harris’ firsthand opinion.
